On behalf of our customer (Linxon), we are now looking for a Civil Manager
Reporting to Head of Field Operations – Department: Engineering Sweden
Location: Västerås, Sweden

Purpose of the Job:
We are looking for a construction project manager with civil and construction experience. Experience from air-insulated or gas-insulated switchgear projects, is an extra merit. You report to Head of Field Operations Scandinavia and part of a team of about 10 people. Linxon runs projects around Sweden and the role involves some travel.
Key Areas of Responsibility (KARs):
§ You have overall responsibility for the project’s ground, civil and construction works.
§ You contract designers and lead the design work.
§ You support the sales department in the tendering processes.
§ You decide on split or general contract.
§ You are responsible for procurement of contractors.
§ You handle ongoing contract issues with contractors during the project.
§ You have a close collaboration with Linxon’s site managers.
Education/ Competencies/ Skills Required:
Experienced University education, civ ing Väg och Vatten or equivalent
§ 5-10 years of relevant experience
§ Experience from switchgear projects or other infrastructure projects is an advantage.
§ You are independent, unpretentious and quality-oriented
§ Proficient in spoken and written English
§ Proficient in contractual law, AB and ABT
Linxon’s office in Västerås. The opportunity to join Linxon’s Work from home concept and the fact that several of our projects are located in the Stockholm area also enables living in Stockholm.
